After Classen I went to OU. Not knowing what I wanted to do or even major in, I wound up with a major in Chemistry (do you remember our instructor in high school-Philip W. Phillips who just happened to have graduated from Phillips Univ) ? We wound up taking the same course one semester at OU. I knew I was in deep doo doo when my high school instructor was taking the same class as myself in college.

After 4 years at OU I was still lost. Went back to the frat. house and took out a legal pad, made a line down the middle, put all the things I liked to do on one side, and all the things I hated on the other. By that time I had a major in chemistry, biology, geology and a minor in physics. Anyway, to make a long story short I wound up at the dental school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis where I met a southern belle.

After graduation they Navy drafted me during Nam. After getting out of the service, I wound up in Jefferson City, Missouri where I've been ever since.

We have two children. One is a geological engineer now in Norfolk, Neb. and or daughter is an RN working in obstectircs. I'm still looking down peoples mouth's and loving it. If I were not using my hands I knew I wasn't going to be a happy camper.

Retirement may be on the horizon, one or two more years.
